Do you have a classroom must have? I have quite a few. It can also be argued that they are simply wants, but I simply couldn’t survive without these classroom “must haves”. My Favorite School School Supply
I love all office supplies, some would say that I’m slightly obsessed. I have had this addiction since I was little. So, you could probably guess that the back to school shopping season is one of my favorites. I’m like a little kid in a candy store!
I recently came across these Paper Mate InkJoy gel pens. I typically don’t like gel pens, because they smear. I’m so impressed with these my friends! These are the first gel pens that don’t smear, and they add amazing color to my planner! I am so impressed that I bought a package for home, one for school, and I bought a back up as well!
My Favorite Book
One of my favorite books is a book that I use as a read aloud. It’s the Watson’s Go to Birmingham by Christopher Paul Curtis. It’s a great mix of funny and serious. I never get tired of reading it, and my students always love it!
My Favorite Resource
My favorite resource right now is….my Third Grade Guided Math units. So far there are three units, but by the end of this month I will be adding three more. I spent a lot of time over the summer working on these to prepare for the upcoming school year. Everything I need is all in one place. My Favorite Free Resource
I love cooperative learning activities, and the beginning of the year is the best time to start incorporating them into the classroom. My favorite free resource is the Back to School ~ Find a Buddy Who. Students get to talk to each other and share about themselves. Add a game of bingo for a twist, and you have some excited students! It’s sure to be a hit! You can find it HERE.
