April showers, bring May flowers.  That is what my little miss seven-year-old keeps telling me, and boy am I thankful for April!

To bring a little sunshine to your classroom, I have a few resources I wanted to share with you.

The Great Kapok Tree

The Grate Kapok Tree by Lynne Cherry is one of my favorites.  If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it!  You can download a set of free activities to go along with the book HERE.

Color By Number for Common Core Math
