Students sort words according to their parts of speech with this grammar pennant activity. They are perfect for reviewing parts of speech and provide you with a festive April or Easter bulletin board display.

Once the pennant is complete, students can color them and cut them out. You can staple them to a bulletin board or hang them on a string across the room to display their work and creativity.

There are four pennants for sorting parts of speech.

Two different sorts are provided.

1. Sort words by nouns, verbs, and adjectives.
2. Sort words by pronouns, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections.

Each skill has four characters to choose from.
