A weekly blog series to assist in the implementation of RTI in Math.

This has been a long time coming.  Months of research and reading and creating and reflecting.  I think I’m ready to jump in with this.  So, ready or not here it comes!

 RTI for Math Made Easy

Yes, you read it right! It’s a blog series for RTI in Math! It’s pretty safe to say that ideas and resources for RTI in reading are in abundance. It’s still fairly newish, and not all school implement RTI in reading, but there are a lot more resources out there. Finding resources for RTI in math are HARD to find!! They are out there, but what you do find is expensive and comes with many components that you may or may not ever use or need. That is why I am starting the RTI in Math Made Easy ~ A blog series. I want to find, create, and share resources to help you, the teacher, with implementing RTI in math. Whether you are looking to begin implementing RTI in math for your individual classroom, a team or school I hope to provide you with tools along the way.

This week is a bit of a sneak peak into my Math RTI Resource Binder for computational fluency. This week I will show you what is in it, which will build a foundation for the series. Each week, I will share with you a specific part and dive into the details.

Here is what you will find in my Math RTI Resource Binder:

Math CBMs 9

3rd Grade Computational Fluency CBMs

4th Grade Computational Fluency CBMs

5th Grade Computational Fluency CBMs

Student Graphs

Progress Monitoring Graphs

Check Sheets

Data Forms

Intervention Forms

Math CBMs 10

So this is your “sneak peek”!  All the above pieces and many more play a part in the RTI process that I am implementing with my 4th and 5th grade math students.
